So, you’ve just wrapped up the last leg of a roadshow. Bet you’re exhausted. And relieved.

Now it’s time to celebrate all your hard work and success with your colleagues – and perhaps your key suppliers too. Seeing as they’ve most likely been by your side the whole way.

But where’s good to go?

We asked our AV1ders (who love to wind down with a bevvy after a show!) which local hot spots they frequent around the country.

Easey’s, Melbourne

MELBOURNE

Easey’s

Recommended by: Luke

Because who doesn’t want to eat a burger inside a train carriage five storeys high?

Two Fat Indians

Recommended by: Nigel & Steve

It’s traditional Indian cuisine in a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere – perfect for a hearty meal and a few drinks to wind down after a long night.

Revolver Upstairs

Recommended by: Tim

This place is always pumping and hosts some epic live bands too. It’s great if you’re kicking on late after a gig.

Opera Bar, Sydney

SYDNEY

The Baxter Inn

Recommended by: Kealan

For its whiskey collection and speakeasy vibes.

Opera Bar

Recommended by: Richard

It’s simple – the view. Particularly if you’ve got some out-of-towners with you.

Alberto’s Lounge

Recommended by: Mollie

Whether you’re after a cocktail, long wine list or tasty Italian dishes – you can’t go past Alberto’s.

Hellenika, Brisbane

BRISBANE

Etsu Izakaya

Recommended by: Lee

A Japanese whisky bar loved for its weirdness. Interesting flavours, unique cocktails and delicious food.

Embassy Craft Beer Bar

Recommended by: Andrew

A hidden gem right next to the Hilton Brisbane. What used to be a dive bar is now a heritage listed trendy hangout with loads of local craft brews and good food.

Hellenika

Recommended by: David

Situated at The Calile, it’s great for its eclectic wines and traditional Greek share plates.

Burleigh Brewing, Gold Coast

GOLD COAST

Miami Marketta

Recommended by: Andrew

It’s worth the short Uber ride from most hotels for a relaxed food truck and drinks market experience. It’s also a great venue for hosting evening networking events.

Burleigh Brewing

Recommended by: Lee

For its chilled atmosphere and awesome range of beers.

The Loose Moose

Recommended by: Andrew

Great selection of food and beers. Plus, it’s walking distance from GCCEC, The Star and The Sofitel.

Wolf Lane, Perth

PERTH

Little Creatures Brewery

Recommended by: David

Set inside a massive converted boat shed right on Fishing Boat Harbour in Fremantle, it’s a great spot to share a few brews with your team.

The Aviary

Recommended by: Chris

On a warm night this open air rooftop is a great place to be.

Wolf Lane

Recommended by: Chris

This boutique bar is a little weird, a bit old school, and a lot of awesome.

Peel Street, Adelaide

ADELAIDE

Gaucho’s

Recommended by: Nigel

You can’t go to Adelaide and not stop for a bite at Gaucho’s . A little pricey but worth it for one of Australia’s best Argentinian eateries.

2KW

Recommended by: Hayley

Perfect for cosying up in one of their outdoor cabanas to enjoy the scenic views with cocktail in hand.

Peel Street

Recommended by: Hayley

Anywhere here is good! Peel Street is a bustling laneway with loads of cosy spots for wining and dining.

Hot Tamale, Darwin

DARWIN

The Trader Bar

Recommended by: Chris

A great go-to for casual drinks of an evening. It has a ‘backyard’ feel to it, but is super trendy too.

Tequila! Need we say more?

Oyster Bar

For its amazing waterfront views. If you’re a seafood fan, this is a must.
