At Long Summer Lunch 2026, we shared the stage with some fantastic emerging Australian artists, and Mina-Siale (@mina_siale) was the perfect fit.

A singer-songwriter with roots running deep in jazz, soul and R&B, Mina-Siale brings a smooth, sultry vocal style and a natural sense of storytelling to every performance. Music is in her blood, with a rich family tradition that has helped shape her sound and her confidence on stage. Whether she’s performing an original songs, a timeless jazz standard, or a reimagined modern classic, Mina-Siale has a rare ability to make each song feel personal, present and beautifully lived-in.

From busking to the big stage

Mina-Siale’s journey began early. She started performing at just 13 years old, busking and taking on live gigs wherever she could. Those early performances helped hone not only her voice, but her connection with audiences - a quality that continues to define her work today.

In 2022, Mina-Siale’s career reached a new milestone when she starred as Ella in the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Soundtrack to Our Teenage Zombie Apocalypse. The role showcased her musical depth and versatility, introducing her to wider audiences and cementing her reputation as a captivating performer.

A highlight of the Long Summer Lunch 2026

Mina-Siale was a standout performer at AV1’s Long Summer Lunch 2026 - an event designed to celebrate connection, creativity and great food, while shining a spotlight on emerging Australian talent.

This year, we had a large focus on sharing our stage with the next generation of artists, and Mina-Siale embodied that vision perfectly. Her performance captured the room, offering guests an intimate, soulful experience that complemented the relaxed energy of the day and reminded us why live music remains such a powerful part of shared events.

Championing emerging Australian talent

Supporting young and emerging creatives is something we genuinely care about at AV1. Events like the Long Summer Lunch give us the opportunity to showcase the incredible range of talent coming through the Australian music scene - and Mina-Siale is a shining example of what that future looks like.

We’re proud to have had Mina-Siale as part of Long Summer Lunch 2026, and we can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next.
