After a 30-year career in the events industry, including a
19-year tenure as Managing Director of AV1, Keith Wootton is embarking on a new chapter.
Keith has now passed the mantle of Managing Director to long-term team member Nigel Mintern.
Under Keith’s visionary leadership, AV1 has become a leading force in audio visual and technical production for business events in Australia. As he steps back from the day-to-day operations, Keith is set to manage his business portfolio, which includes AV1, Sprintr, and an upcoming video-first creative studio, launching later this year.
During the announcement made to its customers and invited guests at AV1’s Long Summer Lunch, Keith said, “I am delighted to hand AV1 over to Nigel. Nigel has a broad knowledge of the business as well as a strong understanding of our technology. He is well respected by clients and staff. Everyone loves working with Nigel.”
Nigel Mintern, the newly appointed Managing Director, brings a wealth of technical expertise and a keen client focus to the role. “I am honoured and excited to lead AV1 into this new era.
