An untamed sound from Western Sydney

From Western Sydney emerges Little Green (@littlegreenmusic) - a prolific songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music feels as organic and untamed as the world that shaped her. With a sound that is grounded, expressive and quietly powerful, Little Green possesses the rare ability to draw listeners in and hold them there.

Her songwriting balances honesty and imagination, creating songs that feel deeply personal while still resonating far beyond the stage. It’s this authenticity that makes her such a compelling artist to experience in a live environment.

Sharing our stage with emerging talent

Little Green was a standout performer at AV1’s Long Summer Lunch 2026, an event created to celebrate connection, creativity and the incredible depth of emerging Australian talent.

A key focus of the Long Summer Lunch 2026 was sharing our stage with artists who are shaping the future of the local music scene - and Little Green delivered a performance that perfectly captured that spirit. Her set showcased not only her original work, but her fantastic ability to reinterpret familiar songs in a way that feels entirely her own.

Reimagining an Australian classic

One of the highlights of Little Green’s performance was her take on ‘Down Under’ by Men At Work. Stripped back and reimagined, the iconic Australian anthem was transformed into something intimate and reflective, inviting the audience to hear it through a fresh lens.

Alongside the classic, Little Green performed two original tracks - ‘Mary Poppins’ and ‘Tea Tree’. Both songs offered a glimpse into her songwriting world, blending thoughtful lyrics with a natural musicality that felt effortless and grounded.

Championing the next generation of artists

At AV1, supporting emerging Australian creatives is something we genuinely care about. The Long Summer Lunch gives us the opportunity to spotlight artists who bring originality, depth and a strong sense of place to their work.

Little Green’s performance was a reminder of the power of live music - and of the exciting voices coming out of Australia right now. We’re proud to have shared our stage with her at Long Summer Lunch 2026, and we’re looking forward to seeing where her music takes her next.
