A commitment to our communities, to innovation and collaboration

On February 1st, we publicly announced my new position as Managing Director of AV1. It’s symbolic that we close out the month with this message, which I am committing to deliver once every four years on February 29, the leap year.

As we step into the future together, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what’s important to us at AV1 and share our vision for the journey ahead.

Education is a top priority. We understand the challenges our industry faced during the pandemic, and we’re committed to rebuilding and strengthening our collective knowledge base. Our accelerator program for junior staff is just the beginning. We’re here to support our customers as they navigate the evolving event planning landscape. We are working hard in the background on more resources to empower you with the insights and tools you need to succeed.

We recognise that rising costs while getting “more for less” presents real challenges for our customers. While we continue to invest in the latest technology, our focus remains on providing reliable, cost-effective solutions tailored to your needs. Our door is open to explore long-term strategies together and find creative ways to optimise your event budgets.

Innovation and technology are at the core of everything we do. As market disruptors, we’re committed to pushing boundaries and delivering cutting-edge experiences for brands locally and internationally. Our dedication to staying ahead of the curve means you can trust us to lead with technology, always striving to exceed your expectations.

At AV1, we’re more than a service provider – we’re your partners in success. Our values-driven approach means we prioritise the well-being of our entire community, from our staff and customers to our industry peers, charitable organisations and beyond. We’re here to support you every step of the way, offering a high-touch, proactive, and open communication style that sets us apart.

I would like to take this opportunity to announce that, thanks to our customers who booked events with us in January, we raised $10,340.13 for Redfern Youth Connect as part of our Pay What You Like campaign. Your support makes a real difference, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community.

As we continue on this exciting journey together, keep an eye out for new resources, deeper community engagement, and cutting-edge technology from AV1.

The future is bright, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
