Exhibition Area
The heart of the venue is the Exhibition Area, a light-filled glasshouse with striking architectural lines and sweeping views of the surrounding Garden.
With capacity for around 400 guests standing or 200 seated for dinner, it’s the ideal setting for gala dinners, award nights, cocktail receptions, corporate launches, and conferences.
The Exhibition Area's scale and flexibility make it the hero space, able to transform to suit both formal and creative event designs.

The Lawn Terrace
Flowing seamlessly from The Gallery is The Lawn Terrace, an adjoining outdoor area framed by manicured lawns and lush greenery. This space is perfect for pre-dinner drinks, networking functions, or wedding ceremonies, comfortably accommodating up to 150 guests standing. The terrace offers guests a chance to step into the Garden while still enjoying proximity to the main venue.

The Foyer
At the entrance, The Foyer serves as a versatile transition space. It can be styled for guest registration, intimate welcome drinks, or even small exhibitions. This area provides a smooth arrival experience, connecting the Royal Botanic Garden to the dramatic interior of The Gallery.
Breakout Spaces
In addition to its main spaces, The Calyx also offers three dedicated breakout rooms directly connected to The Gallery.
These versatile spaces provide flexibility for events that require smaller group sessions, private meetings, or backstage areas to support the main program. Each breakout room can be used individually for workshops or speaker preparation, or combined to create larger ancillary areas such as green rooms, catering stations, or exhibition pods.
With natural light, functional layouts, and easy access to the Gallery floor, these spaces enhance the overall experience by offering both practicality and comfort.
